Is ModusPad a Launchpad replacement?
Yes. It's an independent app that brings back a full-screen grid with pages, folders and search on macOS 26 Tahoe and 27 Golden Gate — and adds profiles that switch by themselves.
Which macOS versions are supported?
macOS 26 Tahoe and macOS 27 Golden Gate.
Can I keep my old Launchpad layout?
Yes. If you used Launchpad before macOS 26, ModusPad brings over its pages and folders when you set it up — or later, from Settings.
What happens after the trial?
ModusPad keeps working with limitations: your launcher stays as you set it up. See what changes →
Do I need an account?
No. You buy a license key, enter it in the app, and that's it.
Can I move my license to a new Mac?
Yes. Deactivate the old Mac in Settings › License, or from the activation screen on the new one.
